    I believe voice mails are kept somewhere on your service providers servers an not on the phone itself.

    Not sure what you mean by having them on a non-activated device. Does the Curve show that you have the voicemails and thwre is no SIM card in it? Did you put your SIM in a Curve that was sitting around?

    Voicemails are indeed on the carrier's server. They are not kept pn the defice itself.
