On the call log of the telephone screen (Passport, OS 10.3.1.1779) there is supposed to be a space that shows one's own number - the help itself directs me there if I want to know my own number. However, what I get there is the German equivalent of "Unknown number - My Blackberry". How do get my number there? Doesn' the dive already know it?

Go into Settings>Security and Privacy>SIM Card and check if there's a phone number displayed. If none is shown, try entering a phone number by pressing Edit Phone Number and entering it in. Then see if that makes a difference.

I found that SIM card pane; no displayed numbers there. However, the only interactive elements are the switch to disable the SIM lock and fields for changing PIN 1 and 2. For the phone number, it only says "Keine Informationen verfgbar" (No information available). Maybe a mistake in the German UI?

No, I set language AND region to English and U.S., and it stays the same.

Do you have another carrier's SIM card to try? Maybe it's a restricted/provisioned setting.

    For what it's worth, I don't have a PIN 1 setting. Just PIN 2.
