I had that ability but accidentally hit the option "don't show me this again" and now everything I delete I lose on my computer also. Is there a way to retrieve this? HELP

There sure is. Open your hub, and tap on the three vertical dots (overflow menu.) Then go into Settings>Display and Actions and set 'Delete On' to Prompt.

In your hub go to setting > Tap on Display and Actions > scroll to the bottom and tap on the drop down thats says "Delete On" > Choose option according to preference.
