    It sounds like you are using a music streaming service like Pandora, or Rdio, or something like that to just listen to music, which as you have seen is just streamed live to your device. There are a couple ways to load music you have purchased on to your device. You can use BB Link to copy songs from your hard drive on your PC or Mac to your device, you can also use iTunes, or you can manually copy over the songs via a file manager program. Your device will be seen as a thumb drive by your computer. You can also use a program ON your device itself such as Amazon Music to purchase music. Also if you have an Amazon Prime subscription you can download additional songs and albums of songs (but you don't own them, that is they go away when you are no longer a Prime subscriber) that are marked as Prime.

    BlackBerry is different from other devices..
    Long press on download link and choose "save linked file" from browser.

    He could be trying to download purchases from BlackBerry World. In which case the o my option now is to steam them.

    Wasn't the BB music store run by 7 Digital? Their store is still out there and MIGHT still have a record of his purchases. I think they can be restored.....
