    I want to plug my Passport into my laptop to charge it, but don't want to install BlackBerry blend on the laptop. The "Installing Blackberry Blend" screen comes up on the phone, and keeps coming back no matter how many times I eject the drive on the computer or click the 'dismiss' button on the phone. It's just unusable until I unplug it. Can I just disable this somehow?

    Not sure if this is a fix, but I would try toggling "Allow Connections" to off in Settings\Device Connections. There are also some USB options in Settings\Storage and Access.

    Have you tried plugging it into a usb 3.0 port? Those aren't good to send the data through so it might just charge it for you instead.
