    Go to your in box (email or sms text), touch the 3 dots at the lower right of screen, and select "select more", select all the ones you want to delete, then touch the trash can icon, and they are gone. You can select whether to delete from device only, or both, device and server. Be careful, there is no recycle bin, once deleted, it's deleted...

    Thank you. I'm aware of deleting messages and email that way. That's a long and tedious process. Is there a "select all" process?

    Tap and hold the day and date bar on the top of the messages and it will highlight all messages below that day and date for deletion.
