Not on BlackBerry World, that's for sure...
You may have better luck if you google that.
Could always buy the dvd and encode them for the tiny screen. Just saying...
Hi guys, thanks for the suggestions. Unfortunately I'm asking on behalf of my wife (talked her into switching from iPhone for a Z30) really and she is even less tech-savvy than I am. I need a solution that is very consumer friendly. I'm disappointed that BlackBerry touted Amazon as the replacement solution when in fact it is far from it. I'm not going to stream movies on a regular basis using data. I know there are workarounds but from my pov they're not reasonable. Any other solutions ?
Thanks.

Find movies elsewhere and load to your BlackBerry. I can't tell you more but movies are out there.
Black is back, baby. Via my Z30
To be fair, BlackBerry's Amazon talk was about the AppStore, not about their Instant Video or Prime service. The fault on that misrepresentation should be placed on the person that incorrectly told you that, not BlackBerry.
For a straight 'purchase and download a DRM copy' scenario, you're going to need a specific app and, I hadn't thought about it, but there isn't an option on BlackBerry.

I never said anything able Prime or any specific service but I interpreted BlackBerry's announcement to mean we'd have a movie buying option. I was wrong. Here's a excerpt from BlackBerrys announcement :
"In addition to the greater selection of apps, you will be able to access video and music services through a number of popular third party services available through the Amazon Appstore and BlackBerry World."

There wasn't much left to assume here...
