    how do i adjust sound for email and text on blackberry classic

    Edit your Normal profile or create a new default profile.
    System Settings --> Notifications -> tap your Normal profile or use the "+" to create a new one.
    tap Customize App Notifications
    modify Email and Text or any other App's sounds, vibrate, LED.
