[CrackBerry Question]

On my Blackberry 4767 Classic. These notifications are persistent, spamlike (at least one a day) and unwanted. When clicking on them, they just bring you to an "Amazon Update Available tap to update now" screen that takes you to nowhere. Will start getting notifications again as if nothing ever happened

Have you side-loading the snap app? (they won't let me post a link because I don't have enough posts, but google "side load snap on BB10" and there's a post on CB about how to do it)
Basically it mimics the google play app store. Any (I hesitated to say any but I think you'll find this is very nearly always true) app that you downloaded through the amazon app story will be in Snap. Once you have that, you can delete the amazon appstore and the notifications should stop.

Download the apk and then update the app, you shouldn't get the notification until another update is released.

Install Ghost Commander
View application
Find amazon
Press down and select Manage
Disable "Show Notifications "

This works for any other application.
