Have an old 7250 from a former employer and am trying to remove the it policy & password. I've tried everything I could find on line did a security reset and wiped all my personal data but can't reset to factory. It has 4.1 software which seems to be the problem....clicked on updates in desktop manager but says there are no updates for the phone. Can someone help?

    Good question

The only way to remove the IT policy and password requirements is to remove the IT policy....

To do this, you need to hook the 7250 to a BES5 and apply a blank IT policy (the default policy within BES). You'll need to find someone with a running BES....maybe the former employer? sadly I just turned off mine the other day

    Good luck!
