    When you connect the Q10, the Chevy audio system says the file system is corrupted and fails to play or list mp3s.

    Are you using an SD card in your Q10? If not, you should and place all your media files on it.

    Once you do that, just swipe down from the top of the home screen, tap on settings, storage and access, then scroll down to the bottom and toggle on the "USB Mass Storage" switch.

    Your SD card should now act like a USB stick/thumbdrive

    I'm not sure if encryption/compression is a user selectable feature on the Q10 memory?, I used to have a 9860 and after I enabled "encryption/compression" on the memory, I found external devices would not read the data.
