I used ES Explorer android app to encrypt some of my personal .jpg files. Unfortunately I forgot the password. How can I open or decrypt those files without knowing thw password. I have deleted .estrong from settings>storage>misc. Did they affect the encrypted files ?

I think the point of encryption the files is so you cannot access them without the password.

As far as I know, you won't be able to access them unless you figure the password out.

There would be no sense in encrypting them if they were easily accessible without a password.
