As far as I know, it is not possible yet, since Hangouts requires Google+ sign in and it hasn't been patched to run in BB... Although I have not checked any updates on that lately.

Google hangout needs Google play service and BlackBerry doesn't support Google play service so the hangout will not support...

Yassbittar nailed it, Google+ signin/authentication is required which has not been worked around... YET.

Edit: Also, Google Play Services has been patched to work on BB10. That's how Cobalt (see his landing page) got the Google Play Store working.

I have Z10 and installed Google Talk (available on BBW). It interfaces with Hangouts but only as far as messaging. You can't call using Talk but at least you can message your Hangouts contacts.
