I turned over a whole can of soda onto my phone and it soaked into the phone because now my ringer button is missed up my phone stays on mute it wont ring in when someone calls me there is no sound can this be fixed

Perhaps there's some sugar making something stick in the switch. I'd try some 99% rubbing alcohol on a Q-Tip and scrub it a little.
Unless you want to take it apart yourself take it to a phone shop. They ll be more able to clean it thoroughly.

If you didn't turn it off right away there are probably fried parts in it and soda is very sticky. Probably need a replacement.
Well, there's lots of ways to fix it.

With your iPhone, I am sure there is a fix it app for spilled soda. Check the Apple App Store. :)

Try plugging your earphones on the plug, then unplug it. Then activate/deactivate airplane mode. I had a water spill before and the same thing happened. I made sure it got dry then did the steps above. No idea why, but it worked.
