Q5 - I no longer run Android apps, and I have deleted the Snap-app that allowed me to download android apps. This folder is taking up 3gb of space on my device and I am receiving storage maximum limits messages.

Permission is denied when I attempt to delete it from the file manager.

You will have to wipe your phone and reload the OS more than likely

    Unfortunately, you cannot delete it.
What you can do to at least get back a little more storage space from it is to wipe your device and start afresh without adding any android app.
You should also know that the android runtime is part of the blackberry 10 OS and takes up storage space of about 2gb if I'm not mistaken.
