I keep receiving annoying junk email on my PlayBook from the same email address. The doesn't seem to be an option available to block the address. How do I stop having my email fill up with this junk email?

Go onto your mail server's website and configure a server side Spam filter rule. All that Spam filtering stuff is rather to be done on the mail server, not on the client, the client (this is your device) should not at all be charged with that task.
