Hello everyone,

I'm using OS 10.3.1.2744 but I want to up it to 10.3.2.2339 since it's now official. I'm said that I can use Blackberry Protect to backup my data in my Q10. However when I use Blackberry Protect app (already in my Q10) I only see the Restore button, there's no Backup button or option like that. I also visit protect.blackberry.com, but I cannot find Backup option or any tab for that function. I did try other things like Play Sound or Display a Message, they worked and it was fun but what I need is to backup my data.

So please tell me that is Blackberry Protect can help to backup my data? And if it can, what exactly do I need to do?

You can't, you can use BlackBerry Link the desktop version to back up your phone

Then what exactly is Blackberry Protect going to Restore?

BlackBerry Protect only restores if you had an old legacy device that ran 7.1 or before. Hopefully BlackBerry makes it better but for now protect is just used for lost and stolen devices
