    Followed crack berry to wipe a 9900 worked fine. Do the same for z10 and it just keeps going to the first screen.
    Side question would a phone wipe remove the Vodafone splash screen?

    No, it won't work.

    You can't permanently remove carrier splashes from a BlackBerry 10 device, unless you switch carriers, I think.

    Even though you unlock the phone it won't change the carrier splash
