My z10 always goes off after reaching 20% of battery. I brought it past 1.5 months. So my question is, who is the villain.? My z10's battery or the latest os 10.2.1.2977.

You purchased it new? If new, more than likely the OS The Z10 has been notorious for battery issues....

Is there a warranty on the battery that you could take it in and exchange it? Or use your old battery to narrow down the problem?

the reason might be that you have installed apks into your phone.. some apk encrypt you're phone so when you're phone starts draining battery more.. but if u restore your phone and dont install any apks then it will work nice as were new.. the problem is that andriod runtime isnt strong enough to run apks.. thats why your phone shuts down while its 20% or 15%

I'm not sure about that. I have several apk's (about 15) on my Z30 (previously my Z10 as well) and I didn't have a problem. Something more is going on if a phone shuts off at 15-20% left in battery. That said, I have deleted android apps that use a lot of the battery and/or made my phone get hot when running for short periods of time.

not sure about this issue because I had the Q10 and when I have installed more then 5 apks it always shut on 15% then I tryed unstalling them blv me it stood till 0% then shut.. so I was shocked that apk actually eats a lot battery..

Weird! I guess he can try to delete them all and see if it works for him. Maybe it was just a certain one if them?

I think ur right.. deleting them and restoring might help him.. otherwise he can check a brand new battery because most of user use their phones while charging which causes drain of battery..

its better for you to go and show it to phone repairs if u dnt have a warranty card.. I dont think the bill is enough.. or maybe they'll give you 2 year warranty with the bill go and check if they can help..

There is no one right answer here. It's called trouble shooting. So you will get more than one suggestion. Start by opening your device monitor and see what apps are killing your battery. If one is using most of the % of your battery, then delete it. If you don't see anything out of the ordinary, then look into seeing if your battery can be exchanged. I don't know where you bought it so I can't comment on what you need to return it. Sorry for having more than one suggestion!
