i have a brand new blackberry z30 and today it shut down when i push the power button the red light comes on amd when i plug it in the green light comes on but the screen doesnt how do i fix thisI live far from town and need to fix it

Prior to attempting a reload try a hard reboot of your device first....hold the power button down for about 25-30 seconds until red LED flashes and boot logo hopefully reappears. If this fails then proceed as follows......

Connect your Z30 to your PC via USB and install the BlackBerry Link desktop software.

With Link installed confirm that your device is recognized in the device list.

If it is visible then proceed to reload OS. This will wipe your device so if possible try to backup what you can e.g. contacts etc. Remove any SD card if installed.

To reload OS choose the "preferences" prompt and then select reload OS.
