    In general: You have to be able to see it "available" on your device (Settings, Software Updates) before you can use LINK to download it.

    I do this all the time for different devices to save airtime or because the Wi-Fi I am using is slow. Also - the next time you need to re-do your device all the required files are cached on your PC which makes it really fast for repeat customers.

    I used it for a Q5 after getting memory issues on the push update. I backed up first VERY IMPORTANT, hit the update and went to bed. In the morning had a full install with all my apps in place.
