It is well known that Outlook 2013 on Windows 8.1 won't sync Contacts and Calendar to the Blackberry 10 device. Outlook 2013 on Windows 7 does sync fine.

Has anyone tried syncing Outlook (either 2013 or Beta 2016 installed version) Contacts & Calendar under Windows 10 preview?

Or does anyone know what we can expect regards syncing Outlook installed contacts & calendar going forward.

I am running 10.3.2 on Passport.

I've had some problems with Windows 10 Build 10130 wanting to recognize my Z10. It had been working on the older Windows 10 build, but it stopped after the last update. Finally install LINK Beta 1.2.4 and that seems to have fixed it.

But I can't comment on Syncing to Outlook the desktop program. I moved to a cloud solution with Active Sync (outlook.com for personal) that has worked out much better for me to keep emails, contacts and calendar all synced... all the time.

I think there is an app in beta that will sync information to and from Outlook, though that doesn't help for now.

I'd be interested in finding out about that app. My Q10 quit syncing after 10.2 came out. I use Windows 7 premium with Outlook 2007 so it isn't just Outlook 2013 having the problem.

One thing to try for sync issues is to have Link forget your handset and then to re-connect the device after a reboot of the computer. This has fixed several file sync issues for me, though since I'm using an Exchange account on my device I don't need to worry about local Outlook syncs.

The need for local sync is becoming less and less of a need for many people as more and more email services are offering EAS or some kind of equivalent. You may want to check with your provider and see if there are options available to you.

As for the app that was in beta, I haven't seen anything on it in months. It's possible that newer versions of Outlook will be removing the features needed to sync, or that the process will be changing.
