I want to know if anyone has switched from the 9930 to a Q10?
Yeah I did
I did about a year and a half ago. Love it. Things that are better for me:
Browser
Reader mode in browser
Maps
4G speed
Hub
Voice control in the car ( will be better in 10.3.1).
Ability to run android apps for school.
Keyboard word suggestions.
Things I miss or troublesome:
Push e-mail through yahoo. ( set to every 30 minutes now). Other e-mail services offer push.
Some keyboard shortcuts.
Screen space when reading texts or bbm.
Contact link is a pain to get sorted out

Have you changed your email settings to imap?
Keyboard shortcuts work in 10.3.1 - might want to update your OS
Not sure how you are syncing contacts but I don't have any issues using outlook.com as the holder of them since yahoo doesn't sync them anymore
Yes i'm set up on IMAP for yahoo. They don't offer push unless you pay for it.
It's actually linking not syncing sorry about that. Contact link with facebook, Gmail, yahoo, local. Cause problems if the fields aren't exactly the same. I get duplicates unless I Separate them all then figure out which fields are different. ie: name, number e-mail. And make them the same then the link works. Just a slow process that took me a while to fix. As a side note you can't change facebook or LinkedIn contact info so you have to make the others match that account for linking contacts.
Shortcuts do work in 10.2.1 but some are missing. Can't remember off the top of my head as I haven't used them in over a year. 10.3.1 isn't officially our yet. I know I can get it but not that concerned until it's pushed out in US. Which will probably be June 2015.
