I got a clean IMEI device from a reputable online marketplace (it came with 8 tries left) and an unlock code from a reputable unlock code seller and for some reason the code won't take or I get "code error; please wait"; and I'm down to 3 tries left....

I'm sure it's supposed to be a painless process, so has anyone else had this much trouble? And was still able to get their 9900 unlocked?

* I was planning on using the 9900 on the T-Mobile Pay As You Go talk & text plan, no data (I even ordered a SIM already). Can I still save a buck and use the AT&T 9900 on a GoPhone talk & text plan or even on a Cricket plan?

I really don't want to buy a crummy flip phone....

In the end, it works great with a talk and text plan from Cricket ; and I'm sure it will also work with an AT&T plan too.

I was sending emails with unlock code provider while the unlock code was not working and was promised a refund which is in writing but was never given the refund.
