Are you referring to Global Positioning System, or Google Play Services?

Does it work with the native BlackBerry maps app?

OK, sometimes an Android app will not "see" your service is on. First try loading "Android Assistant" (Android app), then go to "tools" and be sure GPS is "on" here.

If it is and you still have issues, try installing GPS Status (there's one on BBerry World) and see if it shows your GPS is working.

OK, remember, real GPS does not use the carrier network. However, google maps should work with just carrier input. Still, try loading "Android Assistant" and see if it shows GPS "off". If so, try turning it on with this app. Also check to see if "Android Assistant" shows your data/network as on or off. If off, turn it on.

Understand even though your BBerry's GPS and network may both be on, they need to be "visible" to an Android app. On the Z10, at least, when you turn on BBerry maps both GPS and network navigation are enabled simultaneously. So you may need to be sure they are both "seen" by your Android apps.
