Damn...you see my issue is much much deeper

My account got suspended because I was using Snap10. I was able to reactivate it no problem but when I was trying to log back in It would give me this message.




So...I would upgrade to the latest version but then I had to deal with the Google play message. I would then take it off with Lucky Patcher but it would give me the Id error message.

So basically what Snapchat is doing once you get "caught" is that they force you to use the new version since you can still log in with the old snapchat but once you update they trap you with that Google play nonsense that even Lucky Patcher can't resolve.

By the way don't log off or else it will give you the Google Play error message again and you would have to redo the same procedure again.

On my side...I think the suspension really screwed me over. I can still use it with my Ipad but on the BlackBerry they figured out a way to force you to use the new version where there's no way to log in unless you where already logged in the old version. Obviously I can't log in the old version since they force me to upgrade.

Oh so you can't login to the old one? Or you can but it kicks you off and you can't re login to the new one?
I sure hope they don't suspend my account, I hear they threaten people, even ones using Android versions!! Eesh

Aha now I get you. So basically my method only works if you don't get written up by snapchat, and they'll likely find a way to so that anyone is forced to do the same thing and can't login to old versions and update to the new. Nasty suckers. Hopefully suspensions will stop with the end of snap10 but I'm not holding my breath.

Yeah I've been trying for find a solution but even with Lucky Patcher they seem to detect that something is going on.

I can still use the app with someone else's account but mine seems to be done unless I use it on Ios or Android.

Maybe the probation on your login will go away after a while and you be able to login to the old app. How long has it been since you were suspended?

Beyond Google Services, you need to be able to sign in to Google+. That will never be possible.

Install an old version then log in, close it (don't log out) then update it to the newest version. You shouldn't need to log in and also have the newest version at the same time

Edit: As for the message that says you need to log in to the latest Snapchat, download BlueStacks and log in then to re-enable your account to log into any (well, a recent one, I don't know if it's them all) version of Snapchat, then follow what I said above.

Does this work if your account was locked?

Seems like snapchat is on a bit of a mission to pi$$ everyone off. My daughter got an email saying they were going to lock her account and she only uses genuine apple versions of snapchat. She just hadn't updated to the latest. Who do they think they are with their shock emails.

Nice tip...unfortunately it didn't work. It keeps asking me to update to the latest version

How to install Snapchat with latest update:
Note: this does not appear to work for users whose accounts have been suspended by Snapchat for 3rd party app usage.

1. Download and install http://www.androiddrawer.com/downloa...kxpQWlQcE43U0k
LOGIN TO THIS BEFORE UPDATING!!

2. Go to snap/google play store, whichever you use, and update.

3. Launch app, agree to new terms, and click away from Google Play services like the old days. Enjoy!

Edit: I have not tried rebuilding apk with GMaps patcher without Google services notification yet, it probably will work, feel free to try and I will report back when I have a chance to try it. If it fails, simply start fresh and reinstall using the above steps.

Post Edit: I received an error when updating the old version using a patched apk, so for me it didn't work. Tapping past the Google services error doesn't bother me too much so I leave it up to anyone else who can fiddle with updating using a patched apk.

Glad to hear it. I feel bad for those whose accounts were suspended because of 3rd party usage, it seems those cases are irreconcilable.

Don't feel bad for me brother. I got banned and just stopped using it, it's no biggie. If they make a version for Blackberry I'll start using it again. I feel they will miss me before I miss Snapchat.
