    My Berry is on 24x7. I wish to filter out certain automated emails at night so I am not woken needlessly. I have applied a filter to delete them as they come in but the alert still sounds even though they do not appear on the screen. Can I filter out the alert as well.

    why not use bedside mode and not get notified at all for anything?
    Or use a third party app like Be Buzz or Hub ++ and set a profile whereby the phone does not notify during certain hours?
