Hello out there hopefully someone can help with this. I am having trouble removing a device from the file manager on my Z30. I have been trying to access my PC files via BlackBerry Link, Attached is a screen shot of the current devices showing and I am trying to remove the Hybrid. This all began with what I thought was an issue with loading Win10 on the hybrid PC and testing link. Link would not allow me access to my files so I tried my laptop. Within the link app on the phone it shows my laptop as being connected but the file manager is stuck showing the desktop and won't delete. I have removed link from the desktop booted the phone many times and it's still there. Also blackberry link on both desktop and laptop shows files from the phone with no problem just not working the other way around.

yeah, you can't remove these from file manager. I have some from an old PC and mac. You have to reload the OS and don't restore to get rid of them I believe.

Long-pressing on it doesn't bring the delete option?

Or you are choosing to delete it, but the delete action is not completed and the PC item remains on the list?

Being the weekend I thought about going on and doing a restore. I sure miss the old shutdown and battery pull that helped on the older phones.

Long pressing still tries connecting to the PC.

Yeah, but you are not in the file manager. You are in the BlackBerry Link in settings. Look at his screen shots again. He has one computer in BB Link settings and a different one in the file manager. He can't delete the one in file manager and he can't access the one in Link. It looks like the same area because he has a dark theme for settings.

I forgot to add that long pressing doesn't give an option to delete it only tries to connect.

Thank you everyone for helping with this, I am going to try a reload of the OS. I also have a Q10 and it's working with no issue so possibly is something going on with the Z30.

Sorry, nothing you do will work except getting a hold of the old PC.

Deleting them from the device is only temporary, as they come back later.

Doing a wipe and not restoring will still bring them back, as long as you keep the same BBID.

Sucks and is annoying, since I have 2 other computers I no longer have access to.
