    I'm having this issue for a while, when I see I have notifications from Facebook I open them but when I go back to hub it's still marked as unread it's annoying because I think I have new notifications but not, it's a known issue or what should I do? I'm afraid of delete and reinstall the app because of contacts

    You might be tapping on the Facebook icon. Open the notification by tapping on the text

    I don't think that's the problem but I'll see, maybe with the new update coming a newer version of Facebook will be installed

    I had this problem for over a year, and found a fix on a different thread. Their problem was that they couldn't delete the notification. Anyway, go into Settings>Accounts>Facebook> then flip the Sync Messages to off. Save. Go back to hub. Then repeat the process to turn back on, remember to save.
    Worked for me. No more endlessly reading Facebook notifications twice!!
