    In the account settings - you should be able to turn them off.

    how about chats and msgs?? is there a way to stop receiving it.. I do have face10 I only kept the native fb app because of the contacts

    The application is too underdeveloped to have options like that. There's no way to limit notifications without turning them off altogether.

    hehe.. I like the pro version of face10 compared to the crappy version of BlackBerry if not for the contacts.. its on my junk list already actually

    I think we all prefer Face10 over the native BlackBerry 10 Facebook. It's already capable of doing and viewing much more.
