I'm just thinking positive on this. I hope they are fixing it and let us update later for better experience. I'm waiting - Z10

Install facebook lite.

Think it will even replace the Facebook on my android device because it has better permissions and opens an actual browser when links are clicked on instead of the diabolical facebook browser.

Notifications come to the hub, it opens the app when you press on them., which is by no means perfect. But it's better than having all the pointless hub notifications that aren't facebook messenger.

And you can keep the bb10 version running for hub integrated messenger.

BlackBerry is going to give an update for BlackBerry 10 with the Facebook API Servers are busy too.

Although I don't use it much anymore (use web shortcut instead) I just tested my Facebook app on Passport, OS version 10.3.2.2639, and it is working as it always did, which isn't perfect, but no crashing.

I have been using Facebook for Android version 29.0.0.23.13 along with Messenger version 25.0.0.17.14 for some time now with reasonable success. It's not a perfect fix, but it does give notifications in the hub, and provides a more or less complete Facebook experience, whereas Facebook Lite does not. I have deleted the stock BlackBerry 10 Facebook app, and have not missed it.

Use the above noted Android versions, or Face10. Those are your current fix options. At least until BlackBerry decides to fix their app.
