Email Load Time in BB Hub
Hi,
I have a user with a Q5, when she switches between menus and selects Email within the Hub it takes between 15 to 30 seconds to display the emails. Switching to other menus such as Text, BBM etc siwtch and load instantly.
The user is a heavy email user and has over 4000 contacts and has 1600 emails within her Inbox.
We do not sync all email folders, only the default ones - Inbox, Sent etc
We use 30 days to keep messages in the Inbox.
Troubleshooting I have done is:
Wiped and re activation
Reloaded OS
Factory Restore
Tested on different Q5 device
Reduced days to keep emails from 30 days to 14
Tested on a Z10 device
Despite all of this, the issue still remains.
Speking to Blackberry they do not have any fix for this and it has been raised to the the Dev Team at Blackberry, they suspect due to the large amount of data this is the reason. However as I stated to them I would want a more definitive answer.
Has anyone come across this at all or does anyone have any ideas ?
