i ASKED A DEV TO CREATE AN APP FOR ME. HE DID. i HAVE THE .APK FILES WITH ME.hE CANNOT BE CONTACTED NOW AND i WISH TO REMOVE THE ADS THAT HE HAS ALLOWED TO BE DISPLAYED.iT IS A SIMPLE APP.kINDLY LET ME KNOW HOW TO DO IT.
I did try LDrifta's suggestions but i get this errorapktool is not recognized as an internal or external command..."
Kindly note I wish to edit the apk on a PC WINDOWS 7 NOT ON a mobile phone
I wish to remove ads as it nees to be published suitable for all age groups
I am really fed up trying many things but they donot work

You do understand that he made the app and the ads is generating revenue for him. You removing it is probably against some rules/regulation.

Why did you paid him if you didn't get the source code and, more than that, the app is riddled with ads?
