    How I did it :

Just Believe me, Ok, just now my Z10 has reset by the BlackBerry Link
    Steps:
    1. Connect the device with PERFECTLY WORKING data cable
2.MAIN : In the BlackBerry Link there should be written CONNECTED (below your BlackBerry Id or device name) If it is DISCONNECTED, connect it hundreds and thousands times and bring there CONNECTED
    3. Click the RELOAD button . That's it.

(Clam down Its BlackBerry and not happens to BlackBerry )

Back to the original question. YES, it can take that long but generally shouldn't.

Interrupting the process is not the best idea and even restarting may go right back to the Wipe. But usually, if you can interrupt (and not lose the OS), you can restart the wipe and it will finish quickly.

Nice to hear you are back in business.

My z10 works fine, but I gotta ask you, my device is not identified in link. How did you make it? Just by manually trying until it identifies or anything else?

If you use an autoloader, it's not necessary to do a security wipe. The autoloader will totally remove ALL of your information.
