None IMO. Never said there would be an advantage, just that it's possible lol.

While I see the point that you brought, the Classic trackpad is in a square form so there is mostly no advantage of rotating the screen. On the other hand, on the Passport the trackpad is in a rectangle form so it gives you way more scrolling space.

You're arguing a point I agree with. Again, never said it be useful. Just that it could be done. *shrug*

    Bla1ze,

I have to disagree with you. There WOULD BE an advantage to have screen rotate for the Classic. It wouldn't change the dimensions. However, it would make holding the device much easier when you're lying on your back and viewing material. Have you tried it?
It would actually be a huge advantage. What do you think?

That and also when you're holding the phone to take a picture, much easier to stabilize the picture. Supposedly the volume buttons can act as the shutter, but since it doesn't rotate, not much use there.

if the screen can rotate, it becomes lower profile and more sturdy to surface. I have a hard case "made" for classic, but the kickstand sets the phone sideways, but the screen doesn't rotate, so the kickstand is pointless. Blackberry goofed!
