Does anyone know an good update besides 10.3.2.2813? On a T-Mobile Z10?

This is my second z10 after the other one died of red light and battery wouldn't charge anymore..no matter what I did..anyhow I installed this update just like the past one. however, this OS version gives me texting problems. It won't send text messages like the little clock, it just stays there and then until I restart its says "interrupted error while restarted" then I have to resend again, I've asked this question in the past and no true solution but check my texting APS..so does anyone know a good update besides 10.3.2.2813, I don't care for wifi calling..

I don't think your issues are OS related. When a Z10 goes it goes. Lost one the way you describe on a way earlier OS than 2813. I wouldn't blame the OS on the death of the Z10. When they go they go.

I'd avoid 2876 like the plauge. Then you're really going to add OS issues into the mix. 2876 is the will of Chen and everything Chen touches turns into what comes out of the back end of a horse.

Even though I consider 2813 to be the last best OS before all hell broke lose, if you really think your issue is software then go with OS 2789. That was an OS built for T-Mobile and pushed by T-Mobile.

When you put 2789 on don't try to restore anything. Just go with the new OS. Restoring things just brings back all your old problems.

100% incorrect. T-Mobile never "pushed" 10.3.x (in quotes because BlackBerry is the entity that pushes OSes; carriers at best OK it.) TMO was the only US carrier that did not allow its Z10s and/or Q10s to receive "official" 10.3.2 updates.

I guess when he became Chen's buddy again.. that was only in regards to new devcies.

Maybe he'll bother with the 10.3.3 update as it is "security" related and as it seems the FCC is becoming interested in these types of updates. But I wouldn't count on it.

You're right, what I'm thinking of is that 2789 was the last update that came to my Z30 (factory unlocked) OTA. It was also the first update in a long time that restored wifi calling if you happened to be using T-Mobile as a carrier. For some reason I thought that 2789 was built for T-Mobile (even if they never allowed it) and I want to say 2813 was built for Sprint. I could be wrong on both these points though.

To the OP - I'd still try 2789 before 2876. But Raino is the authority I listen to when it comes to networks and how they work, etc.

The only disagreement I have with Raino is about Legere. I like the guy. haha.

I could be wrong, but I thought 2789 was pushed by T-Mo for the classic to enable WFC. Even though there are "newer" OSs, I use 2789 on my Z10 and wife's classic; gets WFC and is v. stable.

The Classic got 2789 because TMO HAD to comply with the California kill switch law. Branded Z10s and Q10s they felt like didn't have to be in compliance--even though the other three carriers did.
