Despite charging my Q10 (which was brand new 3 months ago) I'm finding the battery runs low very quickly. I rarely use the web, mostly texting and the odd call. I'm assuming that if the Notification LED is flashing amber that its because battery is low? However I have plugged it into the electric socket but the phone will not switch on. Help!!

To answer the topic question, yes the amber light does mean less than 10% battery.

OP please post what version OS you are using as well as screenshots of your device monitor so we can see what is using your battery up.
