    The current software release on my Verizon Classic is 10.3.2.556, and I didn't receive update after Sep 08. Is 10.3.2.556 the lastest version???

    It might be officially but the latest OS that's out is 10.3.2.2639

    Passport SE version SQW100-4/10.3.2.2639

    The latest official OS for the Classic on Verizon is 10.3.2.858 (software version 10.3.2.556), yes.

    I'm not sure when or if NA carriers will green light the current global release of 10.3.2.2639.

    Btw, 'BBOS' refers to the legacy BlackBerry OS 7.1 and prior. BB10 is the name of the current OS.

    Verizon won't be helpful. Customer support will have no idea about anything.

    If you are interested, I'd update your device yourself.

    Never wait for Verizon to push an update since you'll be waiting a very long time. I haven't run an official Verizon release of an OS on my Q10 probably since 10.1. It doesn't affect your device and if a later version of the operating system is released by Verizon you'll still get it available OTA.

    Don't even bother with Verizon support to find out about OS updates. Simply go to software update in phone settings and check for updates. The latest update will be available or will tell you that you have the latest official update already installed.
