My battery seems to be draining faster and charging longer. Crackberry chats speculated that Android apps may cause more drain. A electronics sales clerk suggested Passports and other large screen phones have battery problems after about a year and often need to be replace.
I also can't find a way to delete android apps.

Depends on the app, there is no definitive yes or no answer there. And why can't you delete Android apps? You do it the exact same way you do any other app, long press, hit the trash can, unless you're trying to remove something that is not removable, but there are only 2 Android apps that can't be removed. Amazon App Store and the Amazon Shopping app.
