Im getting the sense that some of the Passport models dont have the flashing light so need it clarified before purchase..

It is important for the user, who is thinking of purchasing, that the light is continual until the phone can be tended to. This could be up to an hour after an incoming call or text.... Like times when the phone is in parked where it cannot be heard by a person with audio damage... which could be just outside the room etc...or inside a handbag where the vibration cannot be sensed.

Also is the sound quality loud and clear..Phone is for a person with audio damage who can manage with the clam Doro and hear one of the ring tones with the Doro LED continual flash till tended to. Doro is designed for deaf people but the smart phones are raspy in comparison to the little clam.

How loud can one get the ring tones...are there any apps or tweaks to get the tone loud?

Thank you for any help on this.

No. The notification LED is not continuous. 3rd party apps like bebuzz and hub++ allow you to lengthen the duration.
