It can't be done on Z30, so I guess that also holds true for other devices running 10.3.2.xxxx
Just to confirm, try opening the dialing pad and then checking the settings menu. If that setting is available, that is where I would expect to find it.

Actually I've seen it on Z30 before, and that is the reason I asked, but also there is no such an option where you said.

Now that you mention it, I do recall seeing a white dialing pad on a Z device (it might have been on my Z10). I do remember the dialing pad being white in the earlier days of BBOS10 - I think pre-10.2.2.xxxx. I'll fiddle a bit and see if I can find a setting somewhere ...
