[CrackBerry Question]

I bought my phone from amazon and am trying to use it with a network provider here in Australia. The problem I am having is that when I dial an eight digit number:

98765432

The number actually separates as 9 8765 432. So There is an actual gap and I get that the phone is purchased from America and does not configure with the network. I have also tried to contact my network provider but they are no help either.

So can anyone provide me with any options how I can change settings to fix this problem I would greatly appreciate it

The gap is just cosmetic and doesn't affect dialing, or at least it shouldn't.

What happens when you tap the green Call button? (You didn't actually say.)

In the dialer, go to Settings>Smart Dialing, and make sure the parameters are set up for Australia, including the "National Number Length." That might help.
