[CrackBerry Question]

I just moved 2,500 contacts from by bb9900 to bb q5 using device switch and can't find them in Contacts. It prompts me to add an account, but I can't see the contacts just moved. I don't want to manage them using Google, etc. just want to manage between desktop and the bb. Am I doing something wrong?

What happens when you create an email account on the phone?

Thanks, I haven't tried creating a new email account. But when I try to create a contact, it accepts the entry and prompts me again t create my first contact. Have created a few new ones so far and can't see the imported ones or the new ones created. Looks like no contacts have been established at all.
