[CrackBerry Question]

I have a Blackberry Classic device, running whatsapp. I believe this means that I have a blackberry 10, although i'm not 100% sure.
Can soneone please explain how to permanently delete some whatsapp messages from my Blackberry, and never be able to restore them. Ever.
I've read one article on the whatsapp site which states that by uninstalling, and re-installing whatsapp it is possible to restore messages & chats. However, another article states that "Deleted messages are permanently deleted from your phone"

Which is correct? and how to I delete permanently.

Yes, the BlackBerry Classic is a BlackBerry 10 device.

To delete chats:
- Inside the app (not the hub), long-press on the chat item and select "Delete" from the menu

To delete individual messages:
- On the chat screen, long-press on the message bubble and select "Delete" from the menu

To ensure the chats are permanently deleted, and can never be restored, you need to delete any message database backups that were created after you received those messages, but before you deleted them. Those backup files are located in:
Device/misc/whatsapp/backup/
And you can find/remove them using the system File Manager app.
