Do you have an SD card? Were the pictures on the card?
If they were on your device memory and you deleted them they are gone.
If you deleted them off of an SD card, then you need to take the card out, download a freeware SD card scanner and try to recover the pictures/

Have you used your phone after data loss? if not , it is possible to recover data from your phone memory card, if you used the phone and saved new data to the memory card, the lost data may be overwritten.

I was in the same trouble before, all the photos in my samsung phone`s sd card were gone, and I have to find some ways to recover them, finally ,I got a tool named Card Data Recovery, which is good and easy to use, it won`t hurt for you to use the trial version to see if your data are there, the tool has a preview function.
