I would like to know if the BB OS is again ready for supporting Data compression just like in the past?

That data compression was a specific feature of the BIS service. It is not required or supported on the BlackBerry 10 devices. BB 10 devices now use the same data plans as other smartphones.

So No, you will not get data compression with BB 10 devices.

Some compression practices are still in place, however it's not as deeply engrained as it was on BBOS.
