There is a dark background option in Contacts app. Similarly is there any options to set dark background to all apps...?? I'm asking about settings,file manager and all other apps.
If u have used a windows phone, you might have known. There will be an option like dark theme or light theme.

Only some of the apps, like BBM and text, have the dark theme. If you really want to have it on all, you can go into the settings and reverse contrast and have everything that way.

Reverse contrast and themes are two different things. Reverse contrast would make it difficult for the user to look at pictures and original colours. If the OP does not have any visual difficulties, then I would not suggest going for it.

Besides the text and contacts, BB10 does not have a dark theme atm for any of the other functions. Q10, however has a dark settings theme.

That is correct about the reverse contrast. I was just pointing that out.

However, a lot of the other BB10 devices can apply the dark theme to the calendar, text messages, BBM, and contacts, not just with the Q10.

Oh how I wish there was. But unfortunately no, the hub can't have a dark theme applied as of the latest OS.
