    I have followed all of the steps on BB site for customizing a ringtone to a contact.. however when my friend calls or texts - it still rings with the regular ringtone. can you help? am I missisg a step? or do I have something turned on or off somewhere?

    Hello and welcome to CrackBerry!
    You are going to Settings/ Notifications, correct? You do not have any third party app installed for this already, right? Like Hub++ or Be Buzz? Click on Contacts at the bottom of the screen and choose a contact and then set the sounds and tones.

    That's the way I do it. Which OS??
