I go to the screen that the manual tells me, "Options" > "Password"> Then on the password icon at the top, the Icon highlighted in blue, with the little padlock beside it, says "Enabled" but when I click on it, it does not change or do anything. I want to "un-enable" password completely. I don't want password protection. I only paid $20 bucks for this phone, I don't care if I lose it that the password is not activated. Or if someone finds my phone and uses it, go ahead, I'll have already cancelled my account. i hate it that the stupid phone makes me enter the stupid password every 30 minutes (the longest time that I could make the setting for.) Hope someone can help. Regards....

Is encryption enabled? If so, disable it and then the password option will be able to be disabled. Assuming since you know the password to the device, it's not an IT Policy.
