Hello Crackberry, I'm a longtime keyboard fan still lamenting when I look at my broken Veer now serving as a desk ornament. I loved webOS and followed Crackberry curiously during the launch of BB10 while settling for the Android world. Matias fixed many of my early criticisms of Android and I've largely settled into Google's services on the platform. I still miss my physical keyboard. The Q10 is the perfect form factor for me. I'd like to pick one up and experiment with BB10. I don't mind a little hackery but I need to know the current state of BB10. It would appear I can now install the Play Store and Google Play Services and continue to use the apps/services I like from Android on BB10. The two things I'm not sure about are I'm a Google Voice user and a Pebble owner. In the early days, it seemed I could use the Android gVoice app for texting but it couldn't place outbound calls from my Google Voice number. The other thing was the Pebble didn't seem to be able to get caller ID information from BB10. Have either or both of these problems been fixed? I'd love to use a device again with a physical keyboard but I can't give up these two abilities.

I use a Q10 and also use Google voice when I need to.

First step, go to Google voice Web page and create a link for your desktop (same as youtube app) see screenshot below:

Considering Q10 but tied to Google Services, what should I do?-img_20150903_090553.png

Next, click on the icon and it takes you direct to the screen to make calls or send text messages. See screenshot below:

In regards to all other Google apps, you can install the playstore and also gets apps from the amazon store (comes on Q10), and should you need more apps, you can source them online such as:

    http://www.apkmirror.com/

..where they are a direct download and install.

I am in the same boat. I decided not to think about and just jump back into BB. My BB Q10 should be coming soon.

I would wait for the new Vienna. The Q is a great little device. But updates are getting scarce in my opinion.
